Management track for the cGMP Quality Control laboratory: supervises and manages analysts, technicians, and scientists who perform analytical, wet-chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and stability samples. Distinct from the QC individual-contributor scientific track (which culminates in the non-managerial Principal Scientist apex that owns method-validation strategy, data-governance policy definition, and serves as deep technical authority and regulator interface) in that this track owns people leadership, lab operations, scheduling, headcount, and budgets — relying on Principal/Senior ICs for deep bench technical authority rather than holding it personally.
