The P1 Buyer/Planner is an entry-level position that supports the supply chain’s planning and procurement activities under close supervision.
The P2 Buyer/Planner independently manages a defined product category or smaller supply chain segment.
The P3 Buyer/Planner manages complex planning and procurement activities, often across multiple product lines or regions.
The P4 Lead Buyer/Planner is responsible for the most complex and strategic planning and procurement tasks within a business unit or globally.
The P5 Buyer/Planning Manager leads a team of planners and buyers and is accountable for planning and procurement across a large portfolio or business unit.
The P6 Director of Buying/Planning holds executive-level responsibility for the entire procurement and planning function on a global scale.
